Day 1. Wednesday, May 23. Arrive at Cairo. Guardian Travel's staff will greet you as soon as you walk into the airport and escort you through customs and baggage claim. You will then be transferred by bus to your hotel. Free evening. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight Mena House Hotel. (D)

Day 2. Thursday, May 24. Buffet breakfast. Camel ride. Explore the Great Pyramid, Sphinx and Giza Plateau. Private time in the Great Pyramid and Sphinx enclosure for our final ceremony. Lunch. Celebration dinner in Le Meridien Pyramids hotel.

Day 3. Friday, May 25. Checkout of hotel and drive to the Bahariyah Oasis. Check in hotel upon arrival and enjoy a free afternoon/evening. (BLD)

Day 4. Saturday, May 26. In the morning, departure by 4X4 Jeep to the White Desert. Visit the Black desert and the dune area. Lunch in El Heiz Oasis. On route to Farafra, visit the Crystal Mountain, the area of the wonders with the desert roses. We visit El Akabat and then we head to the White Desert. We start exploring the formations and wind carved sculptor and finally the New Desert. Return back to Bahariyah for overnight. (BLD)

Day 5. Sunday, May 27. Today enjoy a local city tour of Bahariyah by 4X4 jeeps. Visit of the Temple of Ain el-Muftella, the tomb of Bannantiu, Alexander the Great’s temple, Bahariyah Museum where you will find the Golden Mummies, and the English houses 'Gebel al-Ingleez.' Swim in one of the hot springs. (BLD)

Day 6. Monday, May 28. Check out of hotel in the morning and drive back to Cairo. Enjoy a free afternoon/evening in Cairo. (BLD)

AlexandriaDay 7. Tuesday, May 29. Check out of Cairo hotel and drive to Alexandria. Visit the Alexandria National Museum and the Roman Amphitheatre. Enjoy a sea food lunch and rest by the Mediterranean Sea and Qait Bay Citadel. Check in to the Sheraton Alexandria and enjoy a free night. (BLD)

Day 8. Wednesday, May 30. Free morning and afternoon to enjoy the beaches in Alexandria. Drive to Cairo and en route visit the Library of Alexandria. Enjoy a free evening in Cairo. (BLD)

Day 9. Thursday, May 31. Check out of hotel in the morning and transfer to airport for final departure. (B)

Please note that BLD stands for (B – Breakfast, L – Lunch, D – Dinner) the meals that are included in the tour.

You will need to download, read, sign, and return the following two forms:

Passport: You must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the date of departure. It is a good idea to take a photocopy of your passport with you in case the original one gets lost.
Visa: Most travelers obtain their Visa upon entry to Egypt (based on country of origin).

Cancellation Policy

Although it is unlikely, if the TRIP is cancelled, you will receive a full and complete refund.
If YOU need to cancel your participation, you may:
a) transfer your registration to another person, or...
b) $1,000 is non-refundable. Partial refunds may be given prior to 60 days before departure.
c) No refund is given if cancellation is within 60 days of departure.
