Stanley Park is the second biggest park in North America after Central Park in New York City. Stanley Park offers the chance to ride a bike, walk, run, fly a kite, swim, take a carriage ride and enjoy nature, all in downtown Vancouver. Inside the park, there are a variety of treasures to be found. For instance, the Vancouver Aquarium is located here. There are a variety of beautiful and unique gardens in Stanley Park, including the formal Rose Garden and the Shakespeare Garden. The majority of horticultural areas can be found near the Georgia street entrance and are best viewed in spring and early summer.
