RAM DASS Ram Dass, one of America's most beloved spiritual figures, has made his mark on the world by teaching the path of the heart and promoting service in the areas of socially-conscious business practices and care for the dying. POLISHING THE MIRROR OF THE MIND
This is a discussion about shedding the layers of the mind, like layers of an onion, to come to the essence of yourself. True yoga is going beyond thought, to a place where thought stops. By just being here now you begin to live in the eternal present. Become a witness to your own thought parade, just being with what is, without judgment. That presence of mind, that awareness, which the Buddhists describe as emptiness, is also full of love. It’s the greatest gift you can give, to yourself or another human being.
